HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) is one of the most popular T20 leagues in the world. The league has been entertaining cricket fans since its inception in 2016. The fourth edition of the league was held in 2019 and it saw some outstanding performances from the bowlers. Among these performances, one bowler stood out from the rest in terms of wickets taken. Hasan Ali, a Pakistani fast bowler, took the most wickets in HBL PSL 2019. He played for Peshawar Zalmi and was a key member of their bowling attack. One of the notable things about Hasan Ali’s performance in HBL PSL 2019 was his ability to pick up wickets at crucial moments in the match. In the playoffs, Hasan Ali continued his good form and picked up three wickets in the first qualifier against Quetta Gladiators.
Although Peshawar Zalmi lost the match, Hasan Ali’s performance was commendable. Overall, Hasan Ali’s performance in HBL PSL 2019 was outstanding. He picked up a total of 25 wickets in 13 matches, with an average of 13.64 and an economy rate of 7.43. These are impressive numbers for a T20 league and reflect his skill and talent as a bowler. Apart from Hasan Ali, there were other bowlers who performed well in HBL PSL 2019.
Wahab Riaz, another Pakistani fast bowler, took 17 wickets in 13 matches for Peshawar Zalmi. He bowled with great pace and variation and was a key member of the team’s bowling attack. Sandeep Lamichhane, a Nepalese leg-spinner, was another standout performer in HBL PSL 2019. He played for Lahore Qalandars and picked up 11 wickets in 11 matches. He bowled with great control and accuracy and was able to deceive the batsmen with his variations. Another notable performance came from Mohammad Hasnain, a young Pakistani fast bowler who played for Quetta Gladiators. He took 12 wickets in 7 matches and was able to generate great pace and bounce. He was one of the fastest bowlers in the tournament and troubled the batsmen with his raw pace.
